Our Intensive Outpatient (IOP) Program services provide education, counseling, and act as a stepping stone as individuals transition into a recovery lifestyle. It focuses on substance use and co-occurring disorder education and treatment as in all our levels of care services are provided through client-centered trauma-and informed care lens, to assist individuals in acquiring evidence based skills to better cope with triggers and strengthen their relapse prevention strategies.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Services are at level 2 on the continuum of care. IOP services begin with an assessment and treatment plan development. The client will then participate in 9-20 hours of individual and group therapy weekly, on a 4- or 6-week episodic format. Based on the treatment plan, the client will participate in one-on-one sessions with an experienced therapist who will establish a close, honest relationship based on mutual trust and commitment to recovery. Group sessions will focus on various treatments and skills like skill development, family groups, psychoeducation, refusal, and relapse prevention. Clients are also encouraged to participate in outside peer-support groups like Narcotics Anonymous and Alcoholics Anonymous.
